CrossFit Roseville walk for Huntington's Disease
Hi my name is Ashley Fajardo and I am the Team Hope Walk Coordinator in Sacramento, Ca. My best friend Kristen Stoll Co-Coordinates the walk with me for the last five years and it has changed my life! I grew up with an HD handicap mother who fought a long hard battle and passed away when I was 13.

Huntington’s disease is a neurological brain disorder that is terminal and genetic. Every child whose parent has HD stands their own 50/50 chance of inheriting the gene. So I decided when I was 18 to get tested to see if I carried the gene, I tested positive. This changed my life, because instead of doing things later I do them now. I try my best to live each day to its fullest! I started to volunteer for the HDSA and going to national conventions to meet and talk with other families with this common bond. I grew a great community of friends and family across the US. After 5 years they offered for me to start the Team Hope Walk in Sacramento. This is our 5th Annual Team Hope Walk this year and it has been one amazing journey. I have met special HD families looking for support. I’ve met people in my community reaching out when their own lives weren’t affected by this disease.

I have the most amazing support of friends and family that help and love endlessly. My husband Fernando walks with me side by side through the ups and downs always taking care of me. I am so blessed and thank God everyday for all of these people and my amazing life! Please help by donating to help find a cure for this deadly disease and bring HOPE to the HD families! Thank you so much
