Reasons I Do This – The Challenge of Making You Better

I love the challenge of trying to make people stronger, fitter, and healthier. I’m constantly watching you train, lift, and complete the workouts. I see your effort, body language, facial expressions, and how you move.  I hear the words you use, I see your form when it’s perfect and when it’s not. It takes a while to really get to know someone. I know the athletes that have been here a while pretty well. I am always trying to make you better.

It’s amazing how different each member is.  Some thrive on positive encouragement, some require a kick in the gut challenge with high expectations, some are so mentally squared away and dialed in they just need eyes on their technique, others thrive on the community and working out with the like-minded people at CrossFit Roseville.  Some of you just need a few nudges in the right direction, and some need a full on intervention. What’s really fun is when what I think you need and what you think you need are different.

But I’m not the only one here challenging you to change. The coolest things about our gym is not just watching you get better, but seeing all of you working to make those around you better, too. Keep up the good work all!! We are all in this together.
