Josh gets his first muscle up!

Workouts of the day for Thursday September 19th, 2013:

Hold Up: Before reading the workouts of the day know that the following combination of wods is used as a send-off for Josh Kyser (leaving for college). Most people will have a great (read: terrible) day just doing Fran. Some people may get a kick out of also doing Diane. But come to 4PM class and See Josh and some other screwy members attempt all four workouts back-to-back.

Thrusters 95/65lb

Deadlift 225/155lb
Handstand Push-ups

Nasty Girls
3 rounds for time of:
50 Squats
7 Muscle-ups
135 pound Hang power cleans, 10 reps

30 Snatches 135/95lb

To be fair this is a re-enactment of Josh’s first muscle up, so it is technically his second muscle up. On a side note: Who remembered that Josh used to be bald? Josh has come along way since last summer when he left us to go off to college (1st mistake). When Josh came back for the 2013 summer he brought with him inspiration, a high level of desire, and camaraderie. He will be missed. Josh leaves us with a few mobility WOD videos, the promise that he will constantly improve, and his goals: to someday make it to regionals and then, hopefully, The Games.
